Why this page exists in plain English: CalcLabHub is free to use because we keep it small and simple. That simplicity only works if everyone plays by a few basic rules. These terms describe what's allowed, what isn't, and what we (and you) are responsible for. By using the site, you agree to them.

1. Acceptance of terms

By visiting CalcLabHub.com or any of its subpages, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and Cookie Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. The service

CalcLabHub provides free online calculators, unit converters, and lightweight AI-style writing helpers. The tools run primarily in your browser; some tools (such as the Currency Converter) fetch data from third-party APIs to provide current values.

Everything is provided for general, personal, non-commercial use. If you want to use the site or its output in a commercial product or service, please contact us first.

3. What you're allowed to do

  • Use any tool for personal planning, learning, school work, or research.
  • Bookmark, link to, or share URLs to any tool or blog post.
  • Quote brief excerpts (with attribution and a link back) for commentary or review.
  • Use a tool's output in your own decisions or projects, with the understanding that you — not us — are responsible for the consequences.

4. What you're not allowed to do

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, mirror, or bulk-download the site or its content using bots, scrapers, or automated tools without our written permission.
  • Republish full blog articles or tool pages on another domain as if they were your own.
  • Copy the site's source code, design, or branding into a competing product.
  • Use the site to attack, probe, or attempt to disrupt its operation (including by sending malicious input to any tool).
  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the site to extract non-public components.
  • Misrepresent your affiliation with CalcLabHub or imply we endorse something we don't.

Bulk data collection or aggressive scraping can take the site offline for other users. If you'd like a dataset for research, get in touch — we sometimes share.

5. Intellectual property

All original content on this site — including the calculator logic, page designs, written explanations, FAQ text, illustrations, and the CalcLabHub name and logo — is owned by CalcLabHub or its contributors and is protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may quote brief excerpts for commentary, education, or news reporting under fair-use principles. You may not reproduce entire pages or substantial portions of the site on another website without our written permission.

6. Third-party services and content

The site relies on certain third-party services to function:

  • Cloudflare Pages — hosts the site and serves content.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics — privacy-friendly, aggregate-only page-view counts.
  • Google AdSense — displays advertisements. See our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy.
  • Frankfurter / European Central Bank — supplies exchange rates to the Currency Converter.

We do not control these services and we are not responsible for their availability or behaviour. Their terms and policies apply in addition to ours.

7. User content

CalcLabHub doesn't host comments, reviews, or user-generated content. If you send us feedback or suggestions via the contact form, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use that feedback to improve the site — but we won't publish your name or contact details without permission.

8. Disclaimer of warranties (the short version)

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We don't promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result will be accurate for your situation. See our full Disclaimer.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CalcLabHub and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CalcLabHub and its operators from any claim or demand (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

11. Changes to the service or these terms

We may add, remove, or change tools, features, or categories at any time. We may also update these terms; if we do, the "Effective date" at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of CalcLabHub, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. If a dispute arises, the parties will first attempt to resolve it informally by contacting [email protected].
